Designed for qualified therapists wishing to gain valuable skills to enhance their treatments.
Manual lymphatic drainage aids the removal of excess fluid and waste product within the body, by working with the Lymphatic System. It may help with a variety of issues including Lymphoedema, Lipoidaemia, pre and post-surgery aiding/preventing oedema and much more.
Application techniques will be practiced to ensure competence and understanding of the treatment, allowing student to experience the benefits and effects of MLD.

Observe Health & Safety relating to the treatment
Prepare for a safe and effective treatment
Provide appropriate aftercare
Understand how to incorporate into your other treatments
At the end of this 1 day course you will have the skills to offer MLD treatment to your clients. You will also be able to use elements of this treatment to enhance your existing body therapies.
Many therapists go on to study other advanced Holistic Therapies such as Fire Cupping, Pregnancy and Post Natal Massage, Aromatherapy and Indonesian Massage.

You should hold a massage certificate/qualification and have been working as a massage therapist for at least 6 months
You should have a keen interest in anatomy and physiology and further learning in this area
Ideally, you will be committed to self-improvement and on-going learning in your chosen discipline

You will be assessed during the one day course. There is no requirement for case studies.
