It can be frustrating spending your hard earned money on skincare product that doesn't work for you!
Ignoring the fact that we are a brand I wanted just to give you some tips overall on how to try and avoid this as much as possible.
There are several solutions for you to try new products out before committing to a full size one.
Samples is the most famous way of getting to try something new. It's common practice in the beauty industry for brands to handout samples of their new launches to give customers a chance to try it out and see if it works for them. Even though this is a nice way brands found to promote their products, it seems like a lot of them stopped in time and never cared to pay any attention to their customer feedback and learn that sachets with enough for one use only are no longer something people value, nor does you skin. One go is not enough.
The entire logistics of it is wrong, specially in skincare. Nobody will be able to see any difference in their skin using the product only once. Plus, sachets are so messy to use that a lot of times clients don't find it worth the trouble and toss it in a drawer and forget about it.
I would always suggest offering to pay for samples if this isn’t an option. The brand will know you are serious and might be more helpful rather than thinking you are looking for a freebie.
Some brands, like Pinks Boutique, started to introduce samples with nice packaging, with a decent amount of product so people can really decide if they like it or not.
Another way of trying new products is buying travel size or miniature, which should cost you less than the full size. Does the brand you are looking at offer try me sets as I would recommend trying these.
Lastly if they are available professionally then take a trip. Going to a spa or salon you know carry the brand you're curious to try, and asking them to use the product on you is a great way of getting value for money. You'll get a great and relaxing service (manicure, massage, etc....) and will know if the product is worth the hype.
